As managing partner of Al Wifaq Advocates and Legal Consultants and the founder of the firm, he has been practising law in the UAE for over 30 years and is a member of the International Bar Association of London. Omer started his career as a judge with the
Sudanese Judiciary and eventually presided over the District Court of Khartoum North and Omdurman, prior to turning to private practice in the UAE.

He has litigated a number of high profile and test cases, but at the same time, recognizes his responsibility to the country.
